Career Journey of Shilpa Shirodkar
Shilpa started her acting career in 1989 with the film Corruption directed by Ramesh Sippy, in which she played a blind girl alongside Mithun Chakraborty and Rekha.
She gained popularity with the hit film Kishan Kanhaiya (1990) opposite Anil Kapoor. In 1991, she gave more hits like Trinetra and Hum.
She starred in several successful films including Khuda Gawah (1992), Aankhen (1993), Pehchaan (1993), Gopi Kishan (1994), Bewafaa Sanam (1995) and Mrityudand (1997).
Her role in Khuda Gawah earned her a Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 1993. Shilpa was also much loved for her on-screen chemistry with Mithun Chakraborty, appearing in nine films together.
Her last film before taking a break was Gaja Gamini (2000). After getting married and moving to London, Shilpa took a 13-year break to focus on her family.

I hope she comes.” While talking about the incident, Shilpa became emotional and broke down in tears.
