He then recorded a 12-track album called Where I’ve Been, produced by Sean O’Dwyer, who has worked with famous artists like The Black Crowes and Pink Floyd. The album was available worldwide through TouchTunes and on platforms like iTunes and Amazon.
From 2010 to 2013, Ryan toured the country, promoting his album with radio interviews and performing at small clubs and big festivals. His songs played on country radio stations in several states.
In 2014, Ryan became a contestant on NBC’s The Voice. He wowed the judges with his audition of “Lights” by Journey and joined Blake Shelton’s team, making it to the top five.
