Raghubar Das is an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former Chief Minister of Jharkhand. On 26 September 2020, he was appointed National Vice President of the BJP.

He has previously been an MLA in Jharkhand. On 24 December 2024, he resigned as Governor of Odisha.

Raghubar Das was born on 3 May 1955 to Chavan Ram at Tata Medical Hospital in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. He completed his schooling from Bhalubasa Harijan High School in Jamshedpur.

After that, he earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from Jamshedpur Cooperative College and later a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the same college.

After completing his studies, he worked as a legal professional at Tata Steel. He was also associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in his early career.

    • College Days: Raghubar Das was actively involved in politics and participated in the Total Revolution movement led by Jayaprakash Narayan in the state.
    • 1977: He joined the Janata Party.
