Ira is a Sharadashram Vidyamandir International School student in Mumbai, known for producing cricket legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli.
Although she was named on standby for India’s Under-19 T20 World Cup squad traveling to Malaysia, her recent performance shows her incredible potential for the future.

Ira’s father, Sachin Jadhav, and her mother, Shilpa Jadhav, have always supported her cricket journey. Her father first noticed her talent when she played gully cricket with friends in their neighborhood. Realizing her potential, he enrolled her in HK Bounce Academy in Pune so she could get professional training.
Career Highlight Of Ira Jadhav
On January 12, 2025, at the Alur Cricket Ground, Mumbai played against Meghalaya in the Women’s Under-19 One Day Trophy. In this match, Ira broke Smriti Mandhana’s record for the highest score in an Indian Under-19 match. She also became the first Indian—male or female—to score a triple century (300+ runs) in any BCCI-organized limited-overs tournament.
Her incredible performance helped Mumbai set a new record total of 563/3 in 50 overs, the highest score ever by an Indian women’s domestic team across all age groups.
Globally, the highest individual score in a women’s Under-19 match still belongs to South Africa’s Lizelle Lee, who scored an unbeaten 427 in 2010.
During her innings, Jadhav built two major partnerships:
- A 274-run stand with captain Harley Gala, who scored 116 runs off 79 balls.
- A 186-run partnership with Diksha Pawar, during which Jadhav added 137 runs in just 50 balls.
