She also acted in the Tamil film “En Bommukutty Ammavukku”, a remake of the Malayalam film “Ente Mammattikuttiyamakku”.

In 2019, Geetu directed her second full-length film, “Moothon”, which was made in Malayalam and Hindi. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and opened at the MAMI Film Festival in 2019.
