She was born on 14 June 2001 in Detroit, Michigan, USA and later settled in Bangalore, Karnataka. Her family follows Hinduism. Her father is Subhakar Rao Surapaneni and her mother Swarna Latha is a doctor. She has two brothers, Srikar and Srideep.
Sreeleela completed her primary education in her hometown and later earned an MBBS degree from Bangalore Medical College in 2022. Apart from her studies, she also learned dancing.
She began her career as a model before entering the film industry. She made her acting debut in 2019 with the Kannada film Kiss and entered Telugu cinema in 2021 with Pelli Sandaad.
As of 2024, She is 23 years old. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 58 kg. In February 2022, she adopted two disabled children.
