After college, Rishab did various odd jobs like selling water cans, working in real estate, and hotel jobs while trying to break into the film industry. During this time, he also earned a diploma in film direction from the Government Film and TV Institute in Bangalore.
He started in the film industry as a clap boy, spot boy, and assistant director. While working, he met Rakshit Shetty, and they became good friends.
